Why Phileas Fogg?

Phileas Fogg is the main character in the novel, Around the World in Eighty Days, by Jules Verne.

In the novel, Fogg attempts to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days or less, in order to win a wager of twenty thousand Guineas. Despite his strong inclination to gamble, Fogg never took any unnecessary risks and was a meticulously detail-orientated person with bizarre and neurotically precise standards. In many respects, Fogg fits the stereotype of the "stiff upper lip" eccentric English gentleman.

In that mold, we have set the standard at Phileas Fogg's, and we strive to offer our customers the best dining and drinking experience available. From the quality of our food ingredients to the high-end beers and wines -- we have scoured every corner of the globe to bring you the best the world has to offer.

Enjoy!
